Italian Festival of the Healing Saints
Experience the local ethnic flavor of Cambridge. Each September on the weekend after Labor Day the streets of East Cambridge come alive for the annual Italian Festival of the Healing Saints Cosmas and Damian. Come and enjoy the parades, candlelight processions, ethnic food, amusement rides, live entertainment, carnival games, magnificent illuminations and a special Healing Service in honor of "I Santi Medici." All are welcome to join in this grand and spectacular celebration and witness the money ribbons, capes, and blankets lowered from rooftops onto the Saints during the grand parade on Sunday afternoon!

Somerville Rock & Roll Yard Sale
Sellers from Somerville and all over New England will be set up flea market style in the square with vinyl records, compact discs, used music gear, t-shirts and posters as well as handmade crafts, art and jewelry, vegan cupcakes and other snacks, vintage eyeglasses, vintage clothes and whatever gets dragged out of the closet! At last year's yard sale a customer bought a rock & roll tie with "macho" printed on it. Indeed. Curated by Chris Daltry. Featured bands will be THE 'MERICANS and THE BLIND KING ...plus more!
